Providing cage free home environment for Senior Cats to live out their lives or be adopted into a loving home.
Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats aspires to be a model for the humane care of all cats in their senior years.
- Open a sanctuary for senior cats in a cage-free home environment that is designed for the comfort, well-being and pleasure of the cats until they can be adopted or to live out their lives with love and care in the sanctuary.
- Provide both long- and short-term foster care where cats can live in a home while awaiting adoption or transition to the sanctuary.
- Provide peace of mind to cat guardians by accepting their companions when they are no longer able to care for them.
- Pull senior cats from local shelters to provide a home environment and care appropriate for their special needs.

Asheville Cat Weirdos Emergency Fund
http://ashevillecatweirdos.org/
Asheville Cat Weirdos is a registered nonprofit organization serving people and their cats in Western North Carolina. Our food pantry is stocked with donated food, litter, and non-prescription medication that is sealed in its original packaging and has not expired. Some packaging may be damaged in the transportation process.
Our pantry can offer up to a three month supply of cat food (divided into biweekly installments) before re-application is required.
In 2018, the Asheville Cat Weirdos Emergency Fund Emergency Veterinary Assistance program helped 132 cats, with a total of $38,814.52! The more we do, the more we realize our program is desperately needed in the area, and we’re expected to grow in 2019 and beyond.
